We have a Pentair EasyTouch panel connected to our pump and filter equipment, and I had watched too many episodes of "Pool Kings" not to want to be able to control things via an app on my phone.
Let me preface this review by saying that this is the first swimming pool we have ever had, and we just had it installed. I'm really glad I bought this product.now I just hope it lasts! Now that I have the ScreenLogic kit installed it's great to be able to monitor and control our pool equipment, lights, and water feature from anywhere we have internet access. I do recommend looking at the YouTube video of the guy that connects the indoor parts of this kit because that really sped up the process of getting the wi-fi part done. But once I got that done the rest was really easy. Connecting the four little wires into the EasyTouch panel when there were already one or two wires into each port was a challenge. I have to admit that there were parts of the installation that at first did not go well. So I thought I'd give DIY installation a go min order to save a good bit of money. The company that installed our pool had given me a price on the ScreenLogic that included installation, but I had thought the price to be really high for what this would allow us to do. Wireless Connection Kit utilizes powerful 2.4 Ghz technology for wireless connections up to a half mile line of sight.
